So far I love it! I’ve hiked with a camera strap around my neck and after an hour or so, it becomes annoying to have to find the right place for the camera and never mind the chafing. With the Cotton system, no irritation, no hassles and easy access to my camera.

It has taken a bit to get used to how to manage my bag with the camera hanging off of the strap, but well worth it. With the easy locking system, my camera has been ready for those quick shots.

This will be on the holiday shopping list for a few folks I know who take nature photos.

I love to take my camera with me when traveling and carrying camera bags or backpacks honestly is a pain. Backpacks feel hot on your back, a waist pack just does not feel rights and the constant coordination of taking the camera out and back in makes photography more of a chore that an enjoyment. When I discovered cotton carrier the product is well made, it makes carrying your camera so accessible and with the safety built into the attaching clip I don't worry about my camera dropping, if bending over. When I travel it is about exploring and experiencing the area I am in. This product is such a great solution to have the camera close to you when you need easy access and more importantly keeping your camera securely attached until you're ready to use it. The ergonomics is great. I can walk with my gear and my back does not bother me, I have freedom of movement. I would also add the camera tripod mount is great as Cotton continues to understand it customer and provide a well designed ergonomic solution to photographers. I appreciate all the research and effort this company has taken to make such a great product. I cannot recommend it enough.

I like to carry a traditional DSLR when backpacking, but there are few ways to carry one easily except with Cotton Camera products. I once ascended Mt. Whitney (highest mountain in the "lower 48," at 14,505 feet) with a camera in a bag around my neck. Good thing I was only carrying a daypack! When carrying a 30+ pound backpack on a multi-day trip, the Strapshot is the only way to go.

I can't think of a better way to have your camera on hand to capture all the great moments instead of stopping to shuffle through your pack. Every time I hike with a new friend they say "WOW! That's so handy." I'll probably never carry my camera in another way again.
