I expect to enjoy using my new harness due to weight distribution and convenience. I haven't had a chance to put it to the test yet (beyond getting it ready for wear) but will be traveling in a few weeks and will give it a workout. The only issue I have is some difficulty fitting the vest to my chest. The design definitely isn't built for busty women.

Received as a gift, I have been using this G3 harness regularly for over 6 months. Overall I have found it to be of good quality and offers good weight distribution on the shoulders, however it has what I consider to be a design flaw that makes it somewhat uncomfortable, at times annoying.

The front breastplate that holds the mount for the camera is far too flexible across the top to where the straps attach. With my mirrorless Nikon + the Nikkor Z-Mount 180-600mm lens the hanging weight causes the breastplate to pull outward and fold forward as shown in this copy of one of your own images. I cut a piece of plexiglass and slipped it into the inside pocket immediately behind the breastplate. This immediately improved carrying comfort by providing rigidity to the breastplate. Unfortunately the plexi was too thin and has since cracked leaving this customer having to once again fix a flawed design in your product at my expenses and inconvenience. I would welcome some corrective action when the issue has been addressed with your design and quality control managers and subsequently corrected.
Many reviews here appear upon acquiring the harness whereas I am out shooting 4-5 days per week and have actually been using the product while making the effort towards a solution before reviewing.
I would hope this review is not taken lightly due to the many 5 star first impressions without actual usage.

I was using a sling type strap prior to purchasing the G3 harness. I tried the G3 harness for the first time last week and was very pleased with it. I have a Nikon 200-500 zoom that I use for wildlife while hiking. The sling worked OK but the lens often got too close to obstacles when stepping over large rocks or stumps. Since the G3 harness puts the camera up to my chest this is no longer a problem. It looks like this harness will fit my needs nicely.

The G3 harness is sturdy and well-constructed. It's easy to use and distributes the load of a heavy lens over a much broader area. I have no complaints on the features Cotton Carrier boasts. I do wish it had a pocket or strap for carrying a tripod. It would also be a plus if the back pocket was big enough for a water bladder.

I am 6'2" and find it difficult to get a size that fits me. This camera harness is very comfortable and works well with my backpack.
