First, I own several CCS products and I am 100% satisfied with them all, including the L-Bracket. It works with my Canon R5 as expected, but with expected limitations – (1) limited LCD articulation, and (2) inaccessible side-ports. Second, I waffled between an overall rating of 4 and 5 for the L-Bracket, finally landing on a 5, primarily because of the superb customer support (thanks Brook and Jesse), but also, because it is, as noted in its description, a "universal fitting" l-bracket. How can I give it a 5 rating when it limits my camera’s functionality? Well, I didn’t expect the CCS L-Bracket to be 100% compatible. Nor should you. To do so is unrealistic. While looking at other more expensive options, I wasn’t sure any would readily accommodate the other CCS products I employ. I also read product reviews before buying, often going to the 1-star reviews to assess their validity. For example, if you use a Really Right Stuff BH40, the L-Bracket probably won’t fit. Or if you don’t regularly check your gear, expect some sort of failure (for which blame should be placed on the operator, not the gear). So, I decided to go with the CCS L-Bracket. I was immediately pleased that I had no trouble mounting my CCS Hub and CCS Handstrap. In another critique, the reviewer was unable to do so, although it’s not clear why. Again, even with its limitations, I’m happy with my L-Bracket. Maybe one day my friends at CCS will offer an L-Bracket specifically designed for my camera, but I will expect it to come with a much more budget-damaging price tag. It’s also why I don’t expect to ever see a Canon R5-specific CCS L-Bracket, but if I do, I’ll be one of the first to buy it.

No stop pins on either the vertical or horizontal ? What stops this L bracket from falling out of your camera clamp ? Should have 4 total to protect all possible scenarios.

Have been a Cotton Carrier guy for some time.....satisfied enough to purchase Cotton system and components for friends. Pretty much a great endorsement for the Cotton products.....use them, like them and give them to friends

I've got two issues with this:

1. There's no slot to attach one of the hand straps to it.

2. Adding a hub to use with the system negates the ability to use a tripod in a portrait orientation.

Just thought you might want this feedback.

A nice addition to your line. I have only one concern. There are no safety stops on the rails. Something comes loose and and the camera is on the ground. Had this happen with another "L" bracket that had safety stops. No damage. Consider it for version II.
