I am pain free after hours of carrying my camera in my new Cotton Sling belt carrying system. I love it. It is taking a bit of practice to be quick on the draw, but each day I use it, it became much easier. By the end of the week, I am able to park and unpark the camera with ease. I often go out for 3-5 hours carrying my camera, and previously I would have sore shoulders and neck.
Wth this new carrier, all the weight of the camera is on my hip, and I can even change it from the right side to the left side, if I choose. I practice with it both ways. This is a health benefit to me.

The sling belt is super comfortable for long hikes with my camera, when it is just too hot to carry a backpack. I got the bucket attachment for carrying a few small extras, and I added a small pouch for a water bottle. Having the weight on my hips feels pretty good, and as always with Cotton Carrier products, the mount and attachment are very secure. I used the system last week with my M43 camera and 300mm lens. It was great!

Most of Cotton Carrier’s products put weight on your spine but the Slingbelt doesn’t. And it works well, allowing minimally restricted walking and easy access to binocs and cameras (even with a long lens). I use it with both allowing for binoc inspection prior to photog.

I bought this to help with an event shoot that I was also a part of, not just a photographer. The sling belt kept my camera secure when I was not shooting and right at hand when I needed it. No more camera slinging all over the place on a strap. It performed brilliantly.
