"Because of my work in extreme environments I have consistently relied on the CCSG3 Grey Harness 1(and the older no longer available original harness)for over ten years. The hub is fantastic! I love that the rain cover is at the ready and that I can even carry my phone or other items such as money close to hand in the mesh pocket. I have worn this in every weather condition imaginable from cold and wet to hot and wet! I am often working in places that have no trails or paths and having this harness system has not only saved my neck (literally and figuratively) but also made it so easy to scramble up difficult or uneven terrain without worrying about my gear hitting a rock or me losing my balance with a swinging camera strap. I am most grateful for this system over so many others that just didn’t fit my body or function in a way that I needed it to."
PHOTOGRAPHY WITH A PURPOSE: Chris (Christopher) Ang is a well-respected Nature Conservation Advocate, Speaker & Photographer. To Chris photography while wonderful, in and off itself could be vain, self-serving and sub-optimal. For photography to be optimal it has to serve a higher purpose. As such, Chris uses his photos to invite people to fall in-love with nature and its species, hoping people will protect what they love. Chris is an Image Contributor of WWF (World Wildlife Fund) & Ol Pejeta Conservancy. He is also an Image Contributor & Ambassador of WAP (World Animal Protection). As well as Director of Jaguar Identification Project and Ambassador of Cotton Carrier Gear.
"For me to achieve what I've set-out to do - as a nature conservation photographer - I need to carry several long telezoom lenses (out of my backpack) in-order to be ready to shoot when required and at the same time be hands free to be able to traverse up and down rugged terrain. Until I came about Cotton Carrier harnesses I struggled to be as mobile and ready to shoot. Now with Cotton Carrier gear, I have been able to shoot at will, and be hands free when not shooting. Cotton Carrier System was a game-changer for me."
"Part of my success relies heavily on the gear I use. I’m a firm believer in only using the best. Pay for it once and never have to worry about it. Cotton Carrier systems are a key part of my gear list. It’s made from quality materials and functions flawlessly at every turn. My favorite pieces are the CCS G3 Harness and the CCS G3 Strapshot. The benefit of this gear to me is having the ability to have multiple cameras on me at one time and allowing me to keep my hands free to focus on other tasks such as using trekking poles while hiking. It also keeps my camera in a very accessible location where I can get to it quickly when needed. I learned a long time ago that a camera in your pack tends to stay in your pack, so having it on my chest or on my pack strap makes sure I capture more images. I love my Cotton Carrier systems, don’t know what I’d do without them!"
My name is Jason Loftus, I live in Northern Utah. I’m a Father to three amazing kids and a Husband to a beautiful and very supportive wife. The seed for my photography passion was planted many years ago when I was just a kid out exploring and hunting with my family. I have been taking my passion serious now for the past 5 years focusing mainly on wildlife and wild scapes. My goal is to capture unique moments and use natural light to my advantage. When I capture a moment it becomes a historical record, a moment that can never be exactly reproduced or experienced again. Wild moments! Untamed Moments!
"As a professional photographer, I look to use gear that will enhance my workflow rather than hinder it. The cotton carrier system has been an incredible addition to my on-location camera kit. Working on boats and working over water, it is vital to have my hands free at certain times and to keep myself balanced especially in the middle of a fish fight. The cotton carrier system has allowed me to get my camera off my neck, securely fasten them onto my chest and hip and allow me to have quick unhindered access to my gear while in the middle of the fish action. I also find things like camera straps can be dangerous, as they can dangle around and get caught up when you are moving around the boat. I truly believe that the Cotton carrier system has helped me significantly allowing me to get the shots that I need and not worry about my gear. For these reasons, the chest harness, hip harness, and hand straps are with me on every photo shoot."

“If you’re a photographer you know that you should always have your camera handy. I know every photographer has stuffed a camera in a pack, or in a bag because you don’t want to carry it in your hands. Stop doing that! With a Cotton Carrier you can put it where you’ll use it!”

“When I first discovered the Cotton Carrier Camera Vest, I immediately knew it would add significant benefits to my photography. After a long day in the field, the vest eliminates any neck strain I would have experienced using a regular camera strap. I can now easily access two different camera setups, and not have to dig into my backpack to change lenses. I couldn’t imagine shooting without my Cotton Carrier.”

“As a professional wedding and portrait photographer I value practicality, efficiency and reliability from my kit. That’s why I was attracted to the Cotton Carrier shortly after it was launched. There was no need to worry about whether my lens is dragging on the floor or swinging and knocking against a wall as I moved into position to get the right shot- my DSLRs are locked safely until I need them.”

“Whether I am in the field on another trip, or shooting weddings, the Cotton Carrier systems are the answer to all my gear woes. They literally revolutionized how I work - a two or three camera system on the vest lets me move freely and discreetly. Thats important with everything I need to capture - all sides of a culture, a place, or a wedding. As well it has really helped with back pain and tired hands that I normally have come the reception of a long wedding, or a long day on the road. I will never take a trip or shoot a wedding without one!”

"Safe and secure, these are two words that come to mind when I put on the Cotton Carrier G3 two-camera harness system. Without a doubt there’s nothing more secure that will prevent my camera from shaking to pieces while I’m on horseback out on location. The ability to focus on riding while knowing that my cameras are secure is just simply invaluable."

"While maneuvering zodiacs through the icy waters of the Polar Regions, the cotton carrier has proven to be a game changer for me. Rather than having my camera dangerously dangling at my side, or sitting in my dry bag, the cotton carrier allows me to quickly access my camera so that I don't miss those key moments, all the while keeping my camera protected attached to my chest.

“I love using my Cotton Carrier! It is the most comfortable method I have ever used for carrying my cameras in the 30+ years I have been a professional photographer! I carry a 150-600mm on my chest and another body with a 24-105mm whenever I go traveling. I’ll never go on another photo shoot without it! Thanks for the great product”

Imagine having the world as your office. Imagine your models not caring one iota about their appearance. This is the fortunate situation, Roger Brendhagen finds himself in, approximately 300 days of the year. Although born in Oslo in 1968, this Nature Photographer extraordinaire and his family later moved northwards, settling in the beautiful countryside of Hedemark, Norway. The forestry, wildlife, mountains, rivers and valleys of this area certainly played a role in Roger’s choice of photographic themes. Roger has photographic affiliations with Nikon – and he is a Nikon Ambassador in Europe. He has extensive experience taking nature photos and submitting articles to both magazines and newspapers in Norway and Sweden, as well as many others spread across Europe.
“I’ve been using my Cotton Carrier gear for a couple of years and I love it. It fits perfectly with my needs of being able to move and change cameras fast. When you are in a pit 5 feet wide and 30 feet long with 12 other photographers the last thing you need is for your cameras to be flying all over the place, hitting people and equipment, like I see with other strap systems.”
I love photography. I love music. I can not reconcile one without the other. I happily undertake all other kinds of projects but it is in the fusion of music and photography that I excel the most. There is no feeling like the one experienced when expressing though an image the emotions that the music you are hearing stirs in you.

“When it comes to traveling through dangerous or technical terrain it is key to have freedom of movement, the ability to securely and quickly stow my camera in a variety of positions is optimal for safety and efficiency. The Cotton Carrier system lets me focus on getting the shot, and most importantly getting home.”
