How do I use the tripod or quick release?
The hardware has a tripod holed milled into it for tripod use. If you use quick release we recommend the Universal Tripod Adapter Plate or Universal Arca Swiss L-Bracket.

Women's sizing
The harness system is one size fits all with 6 points of adjustment. We get lots of positive feedback from woman photographers.

Does the system work for large telephotos like a 600mm?
The carrier will not fail under the weight of your camera/lens setup. A 600mm will place your weight forward and for some, it becomes a bit awkward. The system will not fail, but it becomes a subjective matter of comfort.
Can I add another camera or binocular holster after?
Yes, we offer a modular side holster with camera or binocular hardware. Or the individual hardware for camera or binoculars can be purchased independently.
Can I put my camera into the binocular carrier's receiver? Or vice versa?
All hardware uses the same twist and lock system, so you can place your camera or binoculars interchangeably in any receiver.

I bought this to replace the original on my G3 harness, which mysteriously fell off somewhere along the trail. When this one arrived, I think I see how that may have happened: the clip that attaches to the red loops on the carrier has a gap. In other words, it doesn't shut tightly, allowing it to slip off the loop very easily. I could wrap it with tape, but that would make it difficult to remove; or maybe I could find a small carabiner to use instead of the clip, which may fray the loop on the carrier. Hmmm. I'm sure I'll come up with a solution to keep from losing this one but that shouldn't be necessary. Right now I have the inner blade of the clip pushed onto the outside of the clip in hopes it will train the plastic to stay tight against the outer clip when it is moved back inside. A bit surprising as CC's products are very high quality.
But, the bag is indeed waterproof and is very convenient. I suppose it wouldn't work well if you have a long lens but as others have mentioned, but it is long enough with room to spare for my Sony RX10M4.
It is small, light and covers your camera while you are carrying your camera.
What kind of camera and lens would it cover? Not practical and too small. Took forever to be delivered. Question. What can it be used for?
I have a harness for my Canon with 100-400 mm zoom. It measures 11 inches in length, too long for this bag. Any plans for those of us who need a longer waterproof bag?
I just got a CCS G3 and I like it, except for the bag. I’m not sure what they were thinking. It’s just too small to be useful for anyone with a large lens, which is why one gets the CCS harness.
