I ordered this to contain several Olympus 4/3 bodies and lenses. Currently it's housing both an EM1X and EM-5 MkIII along with Leica Pany 42.5, 35-100, and 12-60 Lenses. I know that seems like a lot, but it does actually fit. The Hyker is big enough and not-too-big at the same time. I used the innards of a Lowe Pro bag to section it all apart, and it works perfectly.

Improvements: There's a nice stretchy section off one of the sides of this bag. I love that in theory, but I currently have a Oly 300mm Pro strapped in its LowePro case to that side through the mesh. There are also a couple loops to secure this to the Hyker but I'd prefer a fully supported grip and loop section on that side like you see on the side of LowePro TopLoaders. Not a serious complaint, the Hyker is a FAR better situation and it is amazing having nothing on your hip.

I took some pics at my daughter's final senior varsity track meet, and she gave me the ultimate compliment: "You don't look like a dork". This was with the EM1X in the main holster, and the EM5 in a side holster that I fitted on the main Hyker strap

So far I cannot find a better setup. It's nearly perfect. Going to Costa Rica this summer, so it will likely get a serious test.

Very pleased

Overall great bag. It's exactly what I wanted being a light weight bag to hold my extra lens, teleconverter, wallet, keys, lens wipes and also having the holder for the camera. My only annoyance is with the smaller zipper pocket inside the bag for keys, wallet, etc and it's that the zipper is on the bottom of the flap rather than the top so when you unzip it from the bottom the stuff inside falls out.

I haven't had my new Hyker Slingbag for long but it didn't take long for me to love this system. I have owned many Cotton products in the past that have served me well, but this one fits my needs perfectly. I am a wildflower photographer and spend many hours looking for them in the woods and on trails. Every ounce I carry is important. The Slingbag is light and gives me a place to carry the essentials. With a Canon camera and Oben QR-CQL13 Tripod (which fits nicely in the side pocket) plus necessary equipment, this outfit comes in just under 10 pounds. My hands are free to use a walking stick or two. The picture shows my past go-to Cotton harness. Now I have a place to store my extra lens, rain suit, batteries, and other sundries (TP) that are necessary on the trail. Yes, I am very pleased with my purchase!

I was very hopeful when I ordered the Hyker sling bag as I’m going on a photo workshop soon. I do need to carry a tripod for this trip but the tripod holder (made primarily for a water bottle) was just too small and tight. Not sure what tripod would work in that space. Definitely not my Three Legged Thing Leo 2.0. All the other features were great! The interior “box” probably wouldn’t have been used as it takes up too much space and isn’t very flexible in use. If you don’t need to carry a tripod, this could be a good sling bag!
